Anthony G. Fussner
Mr. Fussner’s practice includes preparing and prosecuting U.S. and foreign patent applications, counseling clients about patent filing strategies, and managing and overseeing large international patent portfolios of clients. His specialties also include rendering patent non-infringement and invalidity opinions, infringement and validity analyses, and patentability assessments.
Mr. Fussner prepares and prosecutes U.S. and foreign patent applications in the fields of antenna theory and design, wireless mobile communication and telematics devices and antennas, electromagnetic shielding, thermal interface materials, specialty metals and composites, and green technologies. He also prepares and prosecutes mechanical, aerospace, electro-mechanical, and computer software applications.
Mr. Fussner regularly counsels and assists clients in making strategic decisions about their intellectual property, including the development of cost-effective international patent filing strategies specifically tailored to meet each client’s business objectives and budget. This also includes counseling clients on strategies involving when to rely upon trade secret protection instead of patent filings.
Before attending law school, he was involved in research relating to neutron diffraction and composite materials at the University of Missouri nuclear research reactor.
