Bryant E. Wade
Professional Experience
Mr. Wade joined Harness Dickey in 1994 and became a principal of the firm in January of 2003. Mr. Wade’s practice primarily involves the preparation and prosecution of domestic and international patent applications and he has extensive experience working with clients in Japan, where he travels regularly. Mr. Wade handles a wide variety of technologies including those in the optical, electro-mechanical, and mechanical arts. Due to the diverse interests of Harness Dickey's clients, Mr. Wade also dedicates part of his practice to counseling clients on strategic business matters as they relate to intellectual property. Mr. Wade also prepares legal opinions and license agreements and enforces trademark rights.
Mr. Wade is a member of Harness Dickey’s Patent Prosecution and Continuing Legal Education committees where he oversees centralized patent prosecution practice procedures and firm wide legal education events.
As an undergraduate student, Mr. Wade researched ultra-violet spectroscopy in The University of Michigan’s Space Physics Research Department through the support of a National Scholarship Foundation research grant.
