Corey E. Smith

Mr. Smith’s practice involves preparing and prosecuting domestic and international patent applications in the mechanical, chemical and electrical arts.

Before entering the field of intellectual property law, Mr. Smith spent seven years as a chemical process engineer for Black & Veatch in Kansas City, where he gained extensive experience in the fossil fuel and nuclear power industry. While in law school, he held an externship in General Electric’s Patent Group, at General Electric Power Systems' world headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia.
