David R. Haarz

Mr. Haarz has practiced in the areas of trademark and unfair competition for over twenty-five years. During that time he has represented and counseled a variety of clients in developing and protecting their trademark portfolios. He was Trademark Counsel at Borden, Inc., where he was responsible for maintaining a world-wide portfolio consisting of over 6,000 registrations. Prior to joining Harness Dickey, he was a member in a general practice firm where he prosecuted, enforced and maintained the domestic and international trademarks for companies of various sizes. Mr. Haarz has had considerable experience handling Internet domain name trademark disputes and has more than fifty reported decisions under the Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Procedure.

Before practicing intellectual property law, Mr. Haarz practiced business and commercial law with a small firm in Detroit.
