Donald J. Daley
Professional Experience
Mr. Daley's practice involves preparing and prosecuting domestic, international and PCT patent applications in the electrical/computer arts, patent litigation, client counseling, and drafting various types of intellectual property agreements and expert opinions of counsel.
While in law school, Mr. Daley worked as a patent examiner at the United States Patent and Trademark Office, examining patent applications in the technical fields of image data compression/coding, neural network and expert systems, pattern recognition, and various aspects of digital image processing.

Speaking Engagements
- Mr. Daley has co-conducted a two day seminar sponsored by the Swedish Patent Office, providing participants with an in-depth understanding of the legislatively enacted AIA and of judicially imposed Supreme Court mandates. In addition, he has lectured before Fédération Internationale des Conseils en Propriété Industrielle on computer software/business method patenting and has further lectured on a diverse spectrum of patent prosecution and enforcement strategies worldwide, including comprehensive patent prosecution programs sponsored by the Swiss Patent Office in Bern, Switzerland, and the Swedish Patent Office in Stockholm, Sweden.
