Mr. Elchuk has considerable expertise in preparing and prosecuting patent applications relating to computer control systems as well as electromechanical and mechanical products. He also has expertise in aerospace technology, handling patent work for a Fortune 50 corporation, particularly involving phased array antennas, piezoelectric actuators, radar, fiber optic, satellite communications and global positioning systems, and composite material manufacturing.
Mr. Elchuk is also experienced in the preparation of freedom-to-practice opinions and patent preparation and prosecution work involving fractional horsepower electric motors and electronic motor control systems involving pulse-width modulation technology. He represents a Tier 1 automotive supplier that is a leader in the field of motor vehicle accessories involving luggage racks, truck bed organizing systems, and other vehicle-related products.
Before attending law school, he was an engineer for Hewlett-Packard, where he worked extensively with small and medium-size computer systems, disk drives, magnetic tape drives, printers, and other related computer peripherals.
