Michael L. Smith

Mr. Smith prepares and prosecutes electrical, mechanical, electro-mechanical, and medical device patent applications, both foreign and domestic. He also has substantial experience in preparing and negotiating intellectual property-related agreements including license, joint-development, and consultant research agreements. In addition, he conducts patentability and infringement studies and has experience in patent infringement litigation.

Mr. Smith joined Harness Dickey after working as an associate at a large general practice firm, and after working as in-house counsel for Motorola, Boeing, and Bausch & Lomb.
