Stephen J. Foss

Mr. Foss’ primary area of specialization concerns the application of intellectual property rights to the life sciences. Currently, he is working with manufacturers of medical devices and computer equipment including orthopedic devices, diagnostic equipment, and other medical and surgical equipment.

While Mr. Foss is usually involved with freedom-to-practice and due diligence issues, he has also spent substantial time preparing and prosecuting patents in the life science area, as well as litigating medical device-related patents.

In the rare circumstances when he is not engaged with professional interests, he enjoys sailing in the Canadian wilderness.
