On March 3, 2020, the United States Patent and Trademark Office issued U.S. Registration No. 6,000,000. The winning registrant was AnaBio Technologies Limited from Ireland and the winning mark was EnCaptZing. This milestone trademark covers the various goods for beverages, dairy products, dietary and nutritional supplements and antioxidant compositions. According to the application, the mark claims the benefit of a foreign application filed in the European Union on Sept. 10, 2018.

As noted in a previous blog post, the number of trademark registrations are issuing at a rapidly accelerating pace. Trademark No. 6,000,000 comes almost four years after the issuance of U.S. Registration No. 5,000,000 for COSTAL TACO BAR + CHILI (registered by Costal Taco, LLC) and less than two years after U.S. Registration No. 5,550,000 for ISNUS (registered by Philip Morris Products S.A.). Based on this pace, I suspect U.S. Reg. No. 7,000,000 will issue within three years.
