Dallas patent attorney and Harness Dickey Principal Chris Miller is set to moderate a panel discussion at the USPTO’s Customer Partnership Meeting taking place Wednesday, May 2, 2018, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. The event will be hosted at the USPTO headquarters in Alexandria, Virginia, in a joint effort between the directors and managers of Technology Centers 3600 and 3700 and the AIPLA.
The title of Miller’s discussion will be “Current Climate Driving Patent Prosecution Practices.” It will include patent drafting and prosecution tactics for improving patent quality and validity in light of current trends in case law and post grant practices.
From the USPTO website, the event is deigned to “bring stakeholders together to share ideas, experiences and insights and to provide a forum for an informal discussion of many topics specific to all mechanical disciplines, including medical technology, gaming, transportation, to name only a few.”
The event is currently open to the public. People wishing to learn more or to register online are encouraged to visit the USPTO website.
