Harness IP Attorney Selected for National Black Lawyers “Top 40 Under 40” List

Harness IP, one of the country’s premier intellectual property law firms, is pleased to announce that John Ambrose, Jr., has been selected for inclusion in the “Top 40 Under 40” list by The National Black Lawyers.  The honor is given to lawyers who have demonstrated superior skill and qualifications in their chosen field.

“This is a terrific honor for John and we are proud to have him with us sharing his expertise and passion for intellectual property law,” said Harness IP Principal Don Daley. “He is a true professional — our clients know it and this proves that his colleagues do as well.”

Ambrose, who is an associate in Harness IP’s Reston office, focuses his practice on patent prosecution in the electrical and computer fields, with special attention to computer software and cloud-based systems, semiconductors, and telecommunications.  With nearly a decade of experience, he regularly works with in-house counsel and foreign businesses to find solutions for their intellectual property needs. His clients include several Fortune 500 companies.

Ambrose earned his J.D. from the College of William and Mary Law School and holds a B.S. in Computer Engineering from the University of Virginia.  While attending William and Mary, he served as President of the Black Law Students Association, William & Mary Law School Chapter, from 2005 to 2006.

This is his first honor from The National Black Lawyers. Membership in this exclusive organization is by invitation only and, according to their LinkedIn page, “is limited to the top 40 attorneys in each state who have demonstrated excellence and have achieved outstanding results in their careers.”
