Dallas Patent Attorneys Named to 2017 Texas Super Lawyers List

Harness IP, one of the country’s premier intellectual property law firms, is pleased to announce that Dallas patent attorneys John Mockler and Gerald Welch were named to the list of 2017 Texas Super Lawyers. The honor, which is granted to only the most respected lawyers, includes no more than 5% of lawyers in each state.

Mockler and Welch join several Harness IP patent and trademark attorneys from its Troy office who were named Super Lawyers for the state of Michigan. These lawyers include: Michael Brennan, Lisabeth Coakley, Glenn Forbis, Paul Keller, Robert Lenihan and Gregory Stobbs. One additional attorney from Troy, Michael Nye, was named to the Rising Stars list for exceptional attorneys who are 40 years old or younger and have practiced law for ten years or less.

Nominations for Super Lawyers and Rising Stars are based on a rigorous, three-step system of peer reviews and independent research to evaluate key indicators of professional success.  Selections for both lists are made each year and announced on a state-by-state basis.

Super Lawyers has the stated objective to “create a credible, comprehensive and diverse listing of outstanding attorneys that can be used as a resource for attorneys and consumers searching for legal counsel.” Only lawyers who can be hired by the public, such as those employed by private firms, are included in the rankings.
