Harness IP Patent Attorney Paul Keller Named to “Leaders in the Law” List

Harness IP is pleased to announce that patent attorney Paul Keller has been named to Michigan Lawyers Weekly’s “Leaders in the Law” class of 2018. The class will be honored at the publication’s annual luncheon and awards celebration on Thursday, April 5, 2018.

“Paul deserves this honor. He is a distinguished lawyer and we are all very happy to have him as a partner,” said Harness IP Principal Michael Wiggins. “We are all very proud of him for receiving this award.”

As a patent attorney, Keller has helped countless clients, from single inventors to Fortune 500 companies, with protecting their most valuable intellectual property assets. He is highly regarded for finding creative solutions that focus on proactive enforcement rather than litigation, saving his clients untold amounts of time and money.

Outside of his client responsibilities, Keller is the head of the firm’s loss prevention group. As a leader in the group for more than 20 years, he seeks to educate attorneys and staff on the latest intricacies of the law and code of ethics that encircles the practice. In addition, Keller is a mission trip volunteer with the Jeremie Haiti Project. He has been on two trips to Haiti already and is actively planning a third trip this April to help rebuild a school that was destroyed by Hurricane Matthew.

Keller earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Michigan and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering, summa cum laude, from the University of Cincinnati.

According to the Michigan Lawyers Weekly website, attorneys receiving the honor were chosen for exhibiting several key factors, including: significant accomplishments or achievements in law practice; outstanding contributions to the practice of law in Michigan; leadership in improving the justice system in Michigan; seeking improvements to the legal community and their communities at large; or setting an example for other lawyers. A full list of honorees is available on their website.
