Harness IP Sponsors 2017 IP Owner’s Video Contest

Harness IP is pleased to once again be a sponsor for the Intellectual Property Owners (IPO) Education Foundation IP Video Contest. This year’s contest will ask entrants to respond to one of four questions using a 60 second video. The questions are:

  • How has a recent patented invention improved the quality of your life?
  • Has anyone in your family or community built a business on a patented invention? If so, how has it affected you?
  • How has a patented invention created new jobs and new industries in your community?
  • How has a patented invention saved or improved the quality of someone’s life, enhanced their education, improved their connectivity, etc.?

To be considered, candidates must submit entries by July 1, 2017.  Videos will be posted online for public viewing and voting during the month of August, and winners will be selected by the end of the month.  A Foundation Awards Dinner will take place in Washington, DC on December 5 to formally congratulate the winners and award them cash prizes and scholarships for the best video from each of three age groups: 13-15 years-old, 16-18 years-old, and 19 and over.
