Metro Detroit patent attorney Tyson Benson will be a panelist at the upcoming American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA) Annual Meeting. The event will take place this October in Washington, D.C.
Benson, who is a frequent speaker on compliance and patent rights for universities, is scheduled to take part in the panel discussion titled “What Happens When Federal Government Interests Touch Intellectual Property.” As part of the discussion, Benson will address the weighty topic of government march in rights. This session will take place October 25, 2018, from 3:30 to 5:30 PM Eastern.
Benson is a recognized expert on IP strategies and Bayh-Dole compliance for university and tech transfer offices. His practice is focused on providing patent protection and portfolio management strategies for his clients’ most important technologies.
