Harness IP Principal Elisabeth Koral Named an “Up & Coming” Missouri Lawyer

Harness IP is pleased to announce that St. Louis Principal Elisabeth Koral has been named to Missouri Lawyers Weekly’s “Up & Coming” honoree class of 2018.

Koral is a patent attorney in the firm’s Clayton office, where her practice focuses on preparing and prosecuting patent applications for oil and gas, chemical and pharmaceutical technologies. She is one of the firm’s go-to experts for chemical and biopharma innovations, including the emerging area of biologics and biosimilars. Although she has only been with the firm for six years, her expertise and dedication to safeguarding her clients’ innovations persuaded the firm to name her a Principal earlier this year.

Koral earned a J.D. from Northern Kentucky University Chase College of Law and received a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis. She is a member of the American Intellectual Property Law Association, Board Member and Secretary of the St. Louis Downtown Children’s Center, and member of the St. Louis Art Museum and the St. Louis Zoo. She also volunteers with Brazen St. Louis as a legal mentor for women entrepreneurs.

To qualify for the “Up & Coming” award, candidates must be 40 years or younger or in the first 10 years of their legal careers. They are judged on academic and career accomplishments, community involvement, and contributions to initiatives likely to make a difference to the profession, the legal system or the greater community.
