Ryan W. Massey

Ryan’s current practice involves conducting freedom to practice, infringement and invalidity investigations, and preparing and prosecuting patent applications in the mechanical and electromechanical arts. Ryan has successfully argued several cases before the Board of Patent Appeals and Interferences.

Ryan obtained his Law degree from George Mason University School of Law in the Patent Law Specialty Track. While at George Mason, Ryan worked as a Patent Examiner at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, examining patent applications in the technical field of automotive transmissions, transmission controls, machine elements and mechanisms.

Ryan joined Harness Dickey in 1995 and became an equity principal in 2003.
